Team Bio
Satsuki Fujisawa is the reigning Olympic bronze medallist. Representing Japan at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Games, Fujisawa edged Great Britain’s Eve Muirhead for the final spot on the podium. It was Japan’s first medal in curling at the Olympics.
The team also earned Japan’s first medal at the world women’s curling championship taking silver in 2016.
Fujisawa made her Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling debut at the 2013 Masters and also competed at the inaugural Humpty’s Champions Cup in 2016.
Chinami Yoshida also played for Japan at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, as the lead/alternate for Ayumi Ogasawara.
