From first-time events to the most prestigious tournament on the circuit, here’s a quick rundown of what’s coming up in April and what you need to know.
Rio Mare Battle of the Sexes presented by The Curling Group
It’s the dream match you’ve been waiting for! Men’s world No. 1 Team Mouat meets women’s world No. 1 Team Homan in a head-to-head showdown on April 7 (7 p.m. ET) at Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre.
The eight-end skins game — taking place on the eve of the AMJ Players’ Championship — will feature celebrity coaches, guest appearances, unique rule twists and more.

Ticket proceeds for the event will support Team Homan and Team Mouat’s charities of choice with an additional $1,000 per end going to the winner’s charity.
AMJ Players’ Championship
The world’s best meet one more time to close out the season, April 8-13, at Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre.
The fifth and final Grand Slam of Curling event of the season featuring the top 12 men’s teams and top 12 women’s teams from around the globe.
Both divisions are split into two pools of six teams for round-robin play. The best six teams advance to the playoffs with the top two receiving byes to the semifinals.

TCG All-Star Game
It’s an extravaganza you don’t want to miss as the first-ever TCG All-Star Game and celebration hits Tee Line Nashville, April 15-16, in Nashville, Tennessee.
The two-day star-studded event features a celebrity pro-am, a skills competition and the main event, the All-Star skins game.
Matt Dunstone, Colton Flasch, Brad Gushue, Brad Jacobs, Hammy McMillan Jr., and Ross Whyte will represent the men’s division with Kerri Einarson, Rachel Homan, Sofia Mabergs, Emma Miskew, Alina Paetz and Sarah Wilkes joining from the women’s division.
Tyler Tardi will also take part in the skills competition in recognition of his now-viral trick shots on social media.
