Canadian Open full event passes now available

Are you ready for an encore? The Canadian Open will return to the Gallagher Centre in Yorkton, Sask., this season.

Full event passes are available only until Oct. 31. Don’t delay, visit ticketmaster.ca to purchase your pass today.

Weekend packages — covering the Friday night draw and all Saturday and Sunday draws — will be available from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30. Weekday single draw tickets are available starting Nov. 1 with remaining weekend individual draw and final draw tickets Dec. 1.

The Canadian Open is the fourth stop on the expanded seven-event Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling series. New for 2015, winners of the Canadian Open will receive invites to the inaugural Champions Cup, the season-ending Pinty’s GSOC event in Sherwood Park, Alta.

This past season saw a full house at the Gallagher Centre during the men’s and women’s competitions. Brad Gushue, of St. John’s, N.L., defeated Saskatoon’s Steve Laycock 6-5 in the men’s final to capture his second Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling title of the season. Scotland’s Eve Muirhead beat Ottawa’s Rachel Homan 5-3 to capture the first Canadian Open women’s title.

The Canadian Open runs Dec. 8-13 and features a triple knockout preliminary round where teams must win three games before they lose three in order to qualify for the playoffs.

Visit the Gallagher Centre box office (455 Broadway Street West) or call 306-786-1740 for more ticket information.
