Wayne Middaugh tops Jeff Stoughton to win Masters
SUDBURY, Ont. — Wayne Middaugh, from Midland, Ont., defeated Winnipeg’s Jeff Stoughton 5-2 to win the Masters Grand Slam of Curling title.
Middaugh earned $30,000 with the victory while Stoughton cashed in $18,000.
Edmonton’s Kevin Martin beat Halifax’s Mark Dacey 9-7 in the third-place match. Martin made $14,000 while Dacey claimed $10,000.
