FORMAT
The WFG Masters features 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams.
Both divisions are split up into four pools of four teams for round-robin play.
The top eight teams advance to the playoffs.
QUALIFICATION
Both year-to-date and total points rankings from the World Curling Federation’s world team ranking system as of Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, will be used to establish the field for the event.
Men’s Division
• 7 teams from the year-to-date rankings
• 7 teams from the total rankings
• Tour Challenge Tier 2 winner (Team Kleiter)
• Tentative sponsor’s exemption
Women’s Division
• 8 teams from the year-to-date rankings
• 7 teams from the total rankings
• Tentative sponsor’s exemption
Due to a conflict with provincial playdowns, HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 women’s champion Team Black accepted an invitation to the KIOTI National instead.
The Grand Slam of Curling reserves the right to implement a sponsor’s exemption in both the men’s and women’s divisions in which one spot could be filled at their discretion.
