The sixth event and fourth major of the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling season returns to Ryerson’s Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto running April 9-14. This marquee tournament features 12 of the top men’s teams and 12 of the top women’s teams from around the world.
The Pinty’s Cup will also be awarded at the Players’ Championship to the overall season champions.
The Players’ Championship has been held annually since the start of the World Curling Tour in 1992-93 and has been the pinnacle event of the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling when the series was formed for the 2001-02 season.
Ryerson’s Mattamy Athletic Centre, formerly known as Maple Leaf Gardens, will host the Players’ Championship for the fifth consecutive season and sixth time in seven years.
