The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling is coming back to Truro, N.S., during the 2018-19 season.

Rath Eastlink Arena will once again host the Masters, the first major of the year, running Oct. 23-28 and featuring 15 of the top men’s teams and 15 of the top women’s teams in the world.

Truro held the Masters in 2015 featuring action-packed, thrilling events with Team McEwen topping Team Cotter for the men’s title and Team Homan prevailing over Team Sweeting on the women’s side.

The Masters is one of the original four tournaments in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling held every season since the inaugural 2001-02 campaign. A women’s division was added in 2012.

Team Gushue (men’s) and Team Jones (women’s) are the reigning champions winning the titles this past season in Lloydminster, Sask.

Winners of the Masters will qualify for the season finale Humpty’s Champions Cup taking place April 23-28, 2019, at Saskatoon’s Merlis Belsher Place.
