Kevin Martin defeats Vic Peters to win Masters
SUDBURY, Ont. — Edmonton’s Kevin Martin defeated Winnipeg’s Vic Peters 8-7 to win the Masters Grand of Curling title Sunday at the T.M. Davies Arena in Lively.
It’s the second consecutive Grand Slam for the Olympic silver medallists Martin, who earned $25,000 with the victory.
Martin also defeated Ontario’s Glenn Howard to win the Canadian Open in December.
