U.S. winners Clark, Brown qualify for Champions Cup

Seattle’s Brady Clark and Erika Brown of Madison, Wis., have earned spots to the Humpty’s Champions Cup, the season-ending Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling event in Sherwood Park, Alta.

Clark stunned John Shuster of Duluth, Minn., 10-4 Saturday in Jacksonville, Fla., to win the USA Men’s National Curling Championship, which is one of 15 qualifying tournaments for the brand new Pinty’s GSOC event.

Brown also clinched a place by edging Nina Roth of Blaine, Minn., 8-6 in the extra end Friday during the U.S. women’s final.

The Humpty’s Champions Cup features all of the top winners of the curling season in one final showdown and runs April 26 to May 1 at the Sherwood Park Arena Sports Centre. Tickets are now available, click here for details to purchase your passes today to this must-see event!
