Jacobs tops Ulsrud to win College Clean Restoration Curling Classic
Brad Jacobs captured his first World Curling Tour title in more than a year defeating Thomas Ulsrud 6-3 in Monday’s final at the College Clean Restoration Curling Classic in Saskatoon.
Jacobs, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., used a big four-ender in the fourth to snap a 1-1 tie and held onto the lead from there.
The reigning Olympic champ finished with an overall 8-1 record.
Team Jacobs’ previous trip to the winner’s circle on the World Curling Tour came at the Players’ Championship in April 2015.
