Gotta See It: Top shots of the 2016 Tour Challenge

Who likes watching cool curling shots?

Revisit the best from the Tour Challenge below:

Gotta See It: Epping’s 6th end double takeout

Third Mat Camm made the call as John Epping’s shooter bounced off one of his own, which then took out Charley Thomas’s counter. Meanwhile, his shooter kicked another Thomas rock out the side and then rolled perfectly to the tee-line.

Rocque scores three to take commanding 6-2 lead

Kelsey Rocque pulled off the double that just missed her own for a three count vs. Kerri Einarson.

Rocque’s final shot scores four and helps her team advance

Rocque made another great shot to put the game away as her shooter avoided her own guards down the narrow path and hit to score four and bringing out the handshakes.

Team Jacobs goes across the house for triple takeout

It’s been all skips so far, so here’s one from Team Jacobs third Ryan Fry that may just be the shot of the Tour Challenge. Fry hit a j-triple, i.e. down and around the house to take out three of Kevin Koe’s counters.

Team Epping gets two to narrow gap against Team Smith

Epping kept his team in it against Kyle Smith with this tricky double, sending both counters out the side doors, to score two.

Team Jacobs eliminates Team Koe with double takeout

It’s a two-for-one package here as first Koe pulled off a crazy quad only for Jacobs to fire back with a fancy double to eliminate the then defending champ.

Gotta See It: Patience pays off as Edin scores 3 on angle raise

Following a pair of blanks, Edin’s waiting game strategy paid off as he made this angle raise to score three. Cheers!

Team Sweeting punch ticket to women’s final

Val Sweeting finished off a big win over Allison Flaxey in the semifinals with this nice in-off to get to the button.

Edin pulls off tricky double to score three and advance to final

If it wasn’t for this shot, Edin may not have even made it to the final. Edin released his final rock with only 11 seconds left on the clock and was able to avoid wrecking on the guard to get the double and score three for the win over Team Gushue in the semis.

Sweeting scores three in seventh to win Tour Challenge

Sweeting added the icing on the cake with this shot to score three in the seventh end of the final against Michelle Englot for handshakes and the Tour Challenge championship.
