After five runner-up finishes, McEwen finally laid claim to the Manitoba Viterra Championship this year to represent the province for the first time at the Tim Hortons Brier.

Team McEwen earned their sixth career Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling title together at the Masters this season in Truro, N.S.

Elsewhere on tour in 2015-16 they captured the Point Optical Curling Classic and Stu Sells Toronto Tankard titles, and they were finalists at the Canada Cup.

Team McEwen are the defending Elite 10 champions defeating Team Edin in last year’s final to claim the inaugural title in Fort McMurray, AB.
