Team Laycock earned their third consecutive Saskatchewan provincial title this year. Laycock has also represented the province three other times at the Brier while playing with Pat Simmons.
Their career-best Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling result as a team came last season when they finished runner-up to Team Gushue at the 2014 Canadian Open on home-province ice in Yorkton, Sask.
Team Laycock won the Canad Inns Men’s Classic earlier this season to book a trip to the season-ending Humpty’s Champions Cup.
They’ve qualified for the playoffs at two Pinty’s GSOC events this season reaching the semifinals at the Masters and the quarterfinals at the Meridian Canadian Open.
