Team Koe enter the Elite 10 as the recently crowned Tim Hortons Brier champions having defeated Team Gushue in Sunday’s final to win the Canadian men’s curling title.

They’ve won a combined 40 Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling titles and captured their first all together at the inaugural Tour Challenge Tier 1 event in September.

Team Koe was the first men’s team to qualify for the new Humpty’s Champions Cup, the season-ending Pinty’s GSOC event featuring all of the top winners of the year.

They also claimed the Canada Cup this season to earn a spot in the 2017 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials. Kennedy and Hebert won the gold medal on home ice at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Team Koe competed in the inaugural Elite 10 a year ago in Fort McMurray, Alta. Koe finished the round robin with a 3-1 and earned a direct bye to the semifinals but lost to eventual champion Mike McEwen.

The 2016 Elite 10 runs March 17-20 at the Q Centre at West Shore Parks & Recreation in Victoria with live coverage on Sportsnet.
