Team Homan will make history becoming the first women’s rink to compete in a men’s Grand Slam of Curling invitational since Sportsnet acquired the series in 2012.

They’ve had a stunning season on the Pinty’s GSOC circuit this year winning a record three consecutive women’s championships at the Masters, National, and Canadian Open.

The team has won four other titles this season including the Canada Cup to earn a spot in the 2017 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials, which will take place in their hometown of Ottawa.

Homan has earned a total of five Grand Slam titles also taking the Masters in 2012 and 2013, and she’s a two-time Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion with a pair of medals at the worlds.

The 2016 Elite 10 runs March 17-20 at the Q Centre at West Shore Parks & Recreation in Victoria with live coverage on Sportsnet.
