Team Epping posted an undefeated 6-0 record en route to capturing the Meridian Canadian Open in December. Epping threw a perfect game in the final against Brad Gushue to earn his third career Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling championship. The title victory also earned them a berth to the season-ending Humpty’s Champions Cup.

While it was Grand Slam title No. 3 for Epping, it was his first with Mat Camm, Patrick Janssen and Tim March. Camm just joined the club last year with Janssen and March coming on board in 2014.

Epping also reached the semifinals at the National earlier this season and finished runner-up to Glenn Howard at the 2016 Recharge with Milk Ontario Men’s Tankard.

Team Epping competed in the inaugural Elite 10 last season and missed the playoffs with a 1-3 record.

The 2016 Elite 10 runs March 17-20 at the Q Centre at West Shore Parks & Recreation in Victoria with live coverage on Sportsnet.
