Over the course of 10 days, we’re profiling all 10 teams set to compete in the Princess Auto Elite 10. Day 5: Team Epping.
Epping has scored a pair of title wins on tour this season taking the Challenge de Curling de Gatineau and the CookstownCash. The Gatineau victory earned the Toronto-based team a spot to the season-ending Humpty’s Champions Cup.
Epping reached the semifinal this year at the Ontario Tankard. He has also helped coach Kerry Galusha’s Northwest Territories team this season and was behind the bench during their impressive run at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Epping threw a perfect game in the 2015 Meridian Canadian Open final to win his third career Grand Slam title. He captured his first at the 2008 National in Quebec City playing second for Team Middaugh. Epping earned his second Grand Slam — and first as a skip — at the 2012 Players’ Championship overcoming the odds as the eighth-seeded team in the eight-team event.
Team Epping also reached the final at the inaugural Humpty’s Champions Cup last season falling to Team Carruthers in a thrilling double extra end.
The 2015 Meridian Canadian Open was the first Grand Slam title for Camm, Janssen and March. The front-end duo of Janssen and March joined Team Epping in 2014 with Camm coming on board the following year after representing Ontario at the Tim Hortons Brier with Team Kean. Camm is a former skip himself guiding Team Ontario to a silver medal at the 2011 Canadian junior curling championships.
The Princess Auto Elite 10 runs March 16-19 at the Civic Centre in Port Hawkesbury, N.S.
