E.J. Harnden has rejoined the chat.
Winnipeg’s Team Matt Dunstone announced Wednesday that Harnden will fill in for B.J. Neufeld this weekend at the Red Deer Curling Classic.
The 41-year-old from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., spent the past two years with skip Brad Gushue but parted ways with the team last month. Harnden won back-to-back Brier titles and world championship silver medals plus a pair of Grand Slam of Curling titles with Team Gushue. He also earned the world silver medal in 2022 as the team’s alternate.
Harnden captured the 2014 Olympic gold, the 2013 Brier title and seven Grand Slam championships while playing with his cousin, Brad Jacobs.
Team Dunstone also includes Colton Lott and Ryan Harnden, E.J.’s brother.
Dunstone begins play at the Red Deer Curling Classic on Friday.
