Dunstone, Middaugh win US Open of Curling titles
Dunny was money at the U.S. Open of Curling.
Winnipeg’s Matt Dunstone took the title in Blaine, Minn., downing city rival William Lyburn 7-2 in Monday’s final.
The two-time Canadian junior champ fell to the C side of the triple knockout preliminary round, but put it all behind him winning fourth consecutive games en route to the championship.
It’s the second World Curling Tour title of the season for the team of Dunstone, Alex Forrest, Ian McMillan and Connor Njegovan.
