Harrison links with Grandy, Kreviazuk & Court
Jacqueline Harrison needed a new support team. Third Clancy Grandy, second Lynn Kreviazuk and lead Morgan Court needed a new skip.
Consider it a win-win situation as they’ve joined forces with Team Harrison announcing their lineup for next season Monday.
Grandy, Kreviazuk and Court previously played with skip Allison Flaxey out of Caledon, Ont. They stunned the field at the 2016 Masters in Okotoks, Alta., capturing their first career Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling championship.
Team Flaxey revealed last week they were disbanding. Flaxey has formed a new team for next season with Winnipeg’s Kate Cameron, Taylor McDonald and Raunora Westcott.
Harrison, from Waterdown, Ont., has also had success in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling capturing the 2016 Tour Challenge Tier 2 title in Cranbrook, B.C., to earn a promotion into the elite ranks.
The team of Harrison, third Janet Murphy, second Stephanie Matheson and lead Melissa Foster stated late last month they were going separate ways.
