2018 Princess Auto Elite 10 teams in 10 days – Shuster
Over the course of 10 days, we’ve profiled all 10 teams set to compete in the 2018 Princess Auto Elite 10. We wrap things up with Team John Shuster.
John Shuster is your reigning Olympic gold medallist. It was the “Miracurl on Ice” last month at the Pyeongchang Winter Games as Team USA turned things around from a 2-4 start to win five consecutive games — including two over Canada — and capped things off with a 10-7 victory in the gold-medal game over Sweden.
Matt Hamilton pulled off double duty in Pyeongchang competing in the inaugural Olympic mixed doubles tournament with his sister, Becca.

Shuster, who has now made four appearances at the Winter Olympics, also earned a bronze medal at the 2006 Turin Games.
They have represented the U.S. at the past two world championships picking up bronze in 2016 and finishing fourth a year ago. Their best result in a Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling tournament so far is reaching the semifinals of the inaugural Tour Challenge Tier 1 in 2015.
The Princess Auto Elite 10 runs Thursday to Sunday at Winnipeg’s St. James Civic Centre.
