Princess Auto Elite 10 teams in 10 days – Koe
Over the course of 10 days, we’re profiling all 10 teams set to compete in the 2018 Princess Auto Elite 10. Day 8: Team Kevin Koe.
Team Koe was victorious at the Roar of the Rings in December to earn the right to represent Canada at the Winter Olympics. They qualified for the playoffs at the Pyeongchang Games but finished just off of the podium in fourth place.
Koe also captured the Ashley Home Store Curling Classic tour title in Penticton, B.C., in November edging Team Edin in an extra end during the final. They are fourth in the 2017-18 GSOC Bonus Cup standings having qualified for the playoffs at three Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling tournaments including semifinal results at the Masters and Meridian Canadian Open.

The members of Team Koe are among the most decorated in the sport with a combined 40 Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling titles. They won their first altogether at the inaugural Tour Challenge Tier 1 in September 2015 kicking off a banner season that also saw them capture the Canada Cup, Tim Hortons Brier and world championship.
Kennedy and Hebert also earned Olympic gold medals with skip Kevin Martin at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. The 36-year-old Kennedy announced earlier this month he will be taking a break from competitive curling following the conclusion of this season.
Team Koe has reached the semifinals in all three previous Elite 10 tournaments.
The 2018 Princess Auto Elite 10 runs March 15-18 at Winnipeg’s St. James Civic Centre.
