Ottawa, ON | Although it’s the first Princess Auto Elite 10 women’s tournament, it’s not the first for Team Homan, who took on the men’s teams in the 2016 edition. Team Homan made history by becoming the first women’s crew to defeat a top-ranked men’s squad in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling with a victory over Team Thomas. Homan, who represented Canada at the Winter Olympics, closed out last season capturing the Humpty’s Champions Cup to earn her seventh Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling title.

Winnipeg, MB | The reigning world champions have welcomed Jocelyn Peterman to the fold with longtime second Jill Officer stepping back into an alternate role. Peterman previously played second for Team Carey winning the Meridian Canadian Open last season. Jones has claimed a record nine Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling women’s titles including last season’s Masters and Boost National.

Edmonton, AB | Walker has returned to the skip role with an all-new squad. Overton-Clapham and Peters won the Meridian Canadian Open last season with Team Carey while Olson-Johns captured the Tour Challenge Tier 1 with Team Sweeting.
