Winnipeg, MB | Skip Reid Carruthers slides over to third stones with the addition of Mike McEwen at fourth. The former skip McEwen has won seven championships in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling including two Princess Auto Elite 10 titles. McEwen skipped his previous squad to the Princess Auto Elite 10 title last season in his hometown of Winnipeg.

Team Edin

Karlstad, SWE | Edin is the reigning world champion and Olympic silver medallist. The Swedish squad has captured three titles in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling winning the trio of trophies during the 2016-17 season. Team Edin made history at the 2016 Masters becoming the first non-Canadian men’s club to win a Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling tournament.

Team Epping

Toronto, ON | Team Epping has added a new front-end duo this season reuniting Laing and Savill. The pair has played together since juniors and won 12 Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling titles together on Team Howard. Epping is a three-time winner in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling.

Team Gunnlaugson

Morris, MB | Neufeld is the new addition to Team Gunnlaugson and brings a wealth of experience as a winner of seven Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling titles with Team McEwen. He won his second Princess Auto Elite 10 championship last season in Winnipeg. Team Gunnlaugson captured the Tour Challenge Tier 2 a year ago to earn a promotion.

Team Gushue

St. John’s, NL | Team Gushue was victorious in three events in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling last season and claimed the Bonus Cup as the overall champions. They wrapped up 2017-18 by claiming the Humpty’s Champions Cup and made history as the first team to win all seven different tournaments in the series. Team Gushue is the double defending Canadian champion and reigning silver medallist at the world championship.

Team Howard

Penetanguishene, ON | Glenn Howard is one of the “Original 18” skips in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling and has won 14 titles since the inaugural 2001-02 season. The four-time world champion Howard had an impressive end to last season as a semifinalist at the Princess Auto Elite 10 and runner-up at the Humpty’s Champions Cup finale. Former Team Epping lead March has joined the club this season with Glenn Howard’s son Scott moving up from lead to third.

Team Jacobs

Sault Ste. Marie, ON | The 2014 Olympic gold medallists have stuck together for another quadrennial. Jacobs has won three titles in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling claiming his first at the 2015 Players’ Championship. They finished runner-up at the Princess Auto Elite 10 in 2017.

Team Koe

Calgary, AB | A retooled Team Koe roster sees the addition of Neufeld from Team McEwen and former skip Flasch. Neufeld won seven Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling titles with Team McEwen including two Princess Auto Elite 10 championships. Team Koe captured the Players’ Championship last season bringing Koe’s title total in the series to five and Hebert’s to 12.

Team Mouat

Edinburgh, SCO | Team Mouat captured the Boost National last season. Mouat, at age 23, made history by becoming the youngest men’s skip to claim a title in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling. The club represented Scotland at the world championship and earned the bronze medal.

Team Paterson

Glasgow, SCO | Paterson takes the reins for this new-look Scottish squad. Waddell previously played with Team Smith and represented Great Britain earlier this year at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. Goodfellow earned silver for Great Britain at the 2014 Winter Olympics with Team Murdoch.
