Quest for the Pinty’s Cup begins at BOOST National

As the first stop of the 2022-23 Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling tour, the BOOST National (Oct. 4-9, North Bay, Ont.) is also the first opportunity for teams to earn points towards the Pinty’s Cup.

What is the Pinty’s Cup? It’s the trophy awarded to teams based on their performances throughout the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling season. While the top four teams in the men’s and women’s standings earn bonus payouts, only one in each division will get to raise the trophy and receive championship rings.

Team Mouat and Team Hasselborg are the reigning men’s and women’s champions, respectively. Both teams won two Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling titles last season including the Princess Auto Players’ Championship in Toronto.
