Ontario skip Jacqueline Harrison has formed a new team for next season with third Alli Flaxey, second Lynn Kreviazuk and lead Laura Hickey.
The squad announced the lineup Thursday on social media.
Harrison won the Tour Challenge Tier 2 title in 2016 to earn a promotion into the top ranks of the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling. The Waterdown, Ont., native last played in the series at the 2018 BOOST National reaching the quarterfinals.
Flaxey is a former skip and captured the 2014 provincial championship to represent Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. She claimed her first Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling women’s title at the 2016 Masters upsetting Rachel Homan in the final. Flaxey made the move to third last season playing with former world junior champion Kaitlyn Jones.
Kreviazuk was part of Flaxey’s foursome that won the Ontario Scotties and GSOC Masters titles. She previously played with Harrison as well during the 2018-19 season and spent this past year throwing third for skip Megan Balsdon. Kreviazuk also earned gold medals at the Canada Winter Games and Canadian junior championships with Homan.
Hickey finished runner-up at this year’s Ontario Scotties playing third for Hollie Duncan. She won back-to-back Canadian University championships in 2008 and 2009 with Duncan for the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks.
