2020 Humpty’s Champions Cup teams to keep spots for next season

Hold onto your invitations, the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling has decided all teams that qualified for the 2020 Humpty’s Champions Cup will keep their spots for next season’s event.

Teams must maintain three members of their squad that originally qualified for the Humpty’s Champions Cup in order to remain eligible for the 2021 edition. If three original members are not available, the invitation will be revoked and the winning team from the next event (based on strength of field) from the 2019-2020 curling season will receive that invitation.

The Humpty’s Champions Cup is the newest of the six events in the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling featuring 12 men’s teams and 12 women’s teams who have captured high-profile titles. Eleven teams in both divisions had been invited prior to the cancellation of the 2020 Humpty’s Champions Cup. The final spots are still to be determined as they were reserved for the winners of the 2020 world championships, which were also cancelled.

Below is the list of teams that have qualified for the 2021 Humpty’s Champions Cup (location to be determined).
