Their best result on the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling circuit this season so far has been a runner-up result at the Boost National.

Kitami, JPN | Fujisawa won the Curling World Cup Omaha title in December. They are the 2018 Winter Olympic bronze medallists. Team Fujisawa has competed in three Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling events this season with a quarterfinal finish at the Boost National.

Sundbyberg, SWE | Team Hasselborg captured their first couple Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling titles back-to-back this season claiming the Princess Auto Elite 10 and the Canadian Beef Masters. The reigning Olympic gold medallists also successfully claimed the European Championship, Stockholm Ladies Curling Cup and Swedish Championship and earned silver at the world championship.

Ottawa, ON | Homan holds a record 10 Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling women’s championships and became the first to crack double digits in January after winning the Meridian Canadian Open. It was also her team’s third consecutive Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling title this season. A three-time Canadian champion, Homan finished runner-up to Team Carey at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts this year.

Lethbridge, AB | Team Scheidegger edged out Team Einarson for the Wild Card spot at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts this season. They captured the HDF Insurance Shoot-Out title on tour in September. Scheidegger won her first career Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling title at the 2017 Meridian Canadian Open in her top-tier series debut.

They claimed bronze for Saskatchewan at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts this season. Lawton previously skipped her own squad and won the 2012 Players’ Championship.

Oberwallis, SUI | Team Stern defeated Team Yoshimura in the Tour Challenge Tier 2 women’s final and earned a promotion into the elite ranks at the Meridian Canadian Open. Stern throws third stones while calling the game. Hürlimann is the daughter of 1998 Winter Olympics gold medallist Patrick Hürlimann.

Aarau, SUI | Tirinzoni, who skips while throwing third stones, is the reigning world champion winning gold for Switzerland last month. Paetz is now a three-time world champion also winning the title in 2012 as the alternate for Mirjam Ott and skipping her own squad to gold in 2015. Team Tirinzoni has finished runner-up twice this season in Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling events at the Princess Auto Elite 10 and Meridian Canadian Open.
