Edmonton, AB | Bottcher is aiming for a fourth consecutive Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling event title after capturing his first three all in a row last season at the Meridian Canadian Open, Players’ Championship and Humpty’s Champions Cup. Team Bottcher also finished runner-up at the Tour Challenge and are back-to-back Brier silver medallists.

Karlstad, SWE | Team Edin captured three Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling titles during the 2016-17 season including their first ever at the Masters. Edin won his record-tying fourth world championship gold medal last season matching Ernie Richardson for the most all-time among skips.

Toronto, ON | Epping linked up with longtime friend Fry this season and so far, so good as they’ve won the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard and Shorty Jenkins Classic. The event’s defending champion, Epping has won three major Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling titles as a skip.

St. John’s, NL | Gushue earned his 11th Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling title last season by winning the Princess Auto Elite 10. The 2017 world champions have captured the Masters twice earning their first in 2014 and second in 2017.

Sault Ste. Marie, ON | The 2014 Olympic champions Team Jacobs welcomed a 2010 Winter Games gold medallist with Kennedy joining at third this season. Jacobs captured his fourth Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling men’s title last year at the Tour Challenge on Northern Ontario ice in Thunder Bay.

Calgary, AB | Team Koe captured the Pinty’s Cup in 2018-19 for the first time in the skip’s career thanks to a consistently strong season with runner-up finishes at the Masters, Players’ Championship and Humpty’s Champions Cup. Koe has won four Grand Slam titles as a skip with his first coming at the 2012 Masters.

Duluth, USA | Shuster is the reigning Olympic gold medallist and captured his seventh U.S. men’s curling championship, fourth as a skip, last season. He also earned a bronze medal in the 2019 world mixed doubles championship with Cory Christensen.
